On September 2nd, 2007 my Mom and Harm came to North Carolina to visit me for a week. I was extremely overwhelmed with my senior year of college and working full time. It was a Saturday night and I was in a horrible mood. I was supposed to go out with Harm and decided to go to bed early instead. Harm called me at 1 am to tell me her car broke down at the beach bars and I had to come get her. I drug myself out of bed, pajamas and all and headed to Wrightsville Beach. On the way there I got stopped at a DUI checkpoint, no license... explained I am just picking up my sister finally got to the beach. I called Harm and told her I was there and to come to the car right now- I'm tired and grumpy. She said just come on the beach to me please... after arguing with my Mom and asking my Mom to get her while I wait in the car I finally agreed and walked onto the beach. As I walk on the beach Harm starts walking away and I was REALLY getting upset! I was like HARMONY LETS GO NOW! I'm tired and I'm getting pissed! All the sudden I hear "Hey Beautiful" and I turn around to see Joey (who is supposed to be in the field in 29 palms, California at this point) standing on the beach. He said all this really sweet stuff and proposed! Of course I said Yes and here we are today!
