Today was new puppy dog's first day with us. Maddie is having a hard time adjusting to life in the desert so we decided (slash I decided) that we need to get this cute little bugger. So I went to see him on my lunch break and half way there I told Joey where we were going. He was like NO WAY we do not need another job. Keep in mind this was also the first week of graduate school for me. So long story short we went to pick him up and brought him home. Maddie is not a fan so far. She is REALLY jealous so we are trying to give them equal time. I know it's pathetic they are only dogs. He is one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen. He is Yorkie and Bichon so he is only supposed to way like 4 pounds fully grown but that's what they said about Maddie too. So the first two nights he SCREAMMMMMED until we held him. It was not a very good experience. Working both jobs, then graduate classes until 10:30, then coming home and wanting to just crash.... NEWSFLASH puppy doesn't want you to be sleeping! We realized that we are definitely not ready for children! Great birth control!
