5.9er

Fortunately, we have no pictures of this event! We experienced our first big earth quake in California! We only live about 30 miles from the San Andre's fault and we sure felt it. I had just walked over to our friends Alex and Stephanie's(who are Californians) and Joey was at work on his typical long day in the field. We were talking about Christmas plans when the entire house started to shake. Since Alex and Steph have been through several earthquakes (and much bigger ones), they gave me all the right things to do if those rumbles were the start of more to come. Thank God my husband came riding up on his motorcycle shortly after. It probably would have knocked his little behind off the bike if he had been driving home a few minutes before. On the news we saw it was a 5.9 so thankfully, no one was hurt and nothing was damaged. :)
