Snow in the desert

So most of you are probably thinking... Big deal you have some flurries. Where we come from you get FEET of snow, not a few flurries that barely stick. Well for a place that gets to be in the high 130's in the summer, this is a HUGE deal. We live in the MIDDLE of the Mojave Desert. Last week it was about 75 degrees and this week the entire town and surrounding towns, closed for snow. The highway was closed and they wouldn't allow anyone without chains on the road. All of this for a few flurries! :) The last picture is little Mr. Murphy and his hoody. He has decided that he is exempt from potty training because it's too cold outside. So he will simply pee in front of the door. So we got him a little shirt to help his problem! So far so good!
