We had another appointment when we got home from Seattle. We didn't get an ultrasound but the doctor listened to the baby's heartbeat. Once again, you could hear the heart beat and they a big swish and she said "Oh My! This is one active baby, you better get some sleep now because you won't be getting much later". It was surreal to once again hear our baby! She said everything looks great and we talked a lot about the birth process. At the naval hospital here you are really lucky to have the same doctor throughout your pregnancy and your birth. Our doctor is one of two midwives at this base and said she would do whatever she could to come in for the birth of our baby. We are really excited to have a midwife and will be more excited to have Mary Ellen Lynch, the midwife there for the birth!
