When all of our family left I was feeling a little funny. I thought maybe I was just homesick or having pains in my stomach from the last few weeks of pregnancy. Joey was in the field and the pain got significantly worse so I made the dreaded trip to labor and delivery. After several hours- they sent me home and told me it was round ligament pain. The next morning I could barely move so I called back and told them there was something seriously wrong. As I was waiting for a call back from the doctor on call, I passed a kidney stone. They told me to collect it and put it in a zip lock bag.... how weird! I guess it makes sense to see what kind of kidney stone it is. So there is the enormous rock..... they say if you can pass kidney stones, you can do an unmedicated birth- I guess we'll find out!
This is when the fun begins.... hard time sleeping, lots of nesting, and being uncomfortable all the time! 33 weeks and getting everything ready for the bambino! She has more clothes than I do! No one can resist adorable little baby girl clothes so we have a TON! We can't wait for her to be here!
