Tree hunting!

Sadly, we have very few choices of Christmas trees out in the desert. We can't go out in the snow and have snowball fights as we find "the perfect tree". We have the choice of going to walmart or home depot to find our half dead tree that is brought in all the way from Oregon. So we drove to Home Depot and as we were getting out of the truck it started sleeting. Well because I'm huge and pregnant, I can't fit into my winter jacket so I have a thin fleece on and it's FREEZING (even with my pregnancy heater on full blast). What usually takes quite a while took us all of about two minutes to pick that perfect tree. The first one Joey picked up seemed perfect to me!



We started making cookies and enjoying a quiet pre-holiday celebration because our life is about to drastically change! :)
