Horseback riding on the volcano
We decided since we were in Banos and the volcano just erupted, it would be a great idea to go horseback riding on it. Shannon, who could ride a horse before she could walk was telling me how easy it is. I have rode a few ponies and walked on horses before. Well.... our little tour guide and his brother didn't like the fact that I didn't know how to RUN full speed up this volcano. Let's just say it was INTENSE! They don't treat their horses very well and it made us really sad. We did have a great time though! At lunch we stopped on the top of the volcano and it started raining.... awesome after a volcano... tons of mud.... steep trails... make it a little interesting. So we stopped and sat under a rock until it stopped raining... let's just say they do things a little different in South America. So we had an awesome time and when we were done I couldn't even walk!
