Idyllwild, California

We spent the weekend in this beautiful cabin in the mountains. Carolyn and Brandon, their baby Cailyn, their two dogs (I'm still on the fence about the black dog... I think he's part horse), our dogs and us, headed to Idyllwild for the weekend. We had a great time playing games, watching football, and just relaxing away from the desert. Brandon just got home from a tough deployment in Afghanistan so it was nice to get away from the Marine Corps life for a little while. Although I lost at EVERY game we played, it was still tons of fun! Carolyn scored us this awesome million dollar cabin for pretty cheap because the owners are veterans. It was weird to drive up this windy road for an hour and be in the woods. It was awesome to be around green, cold weather, and awesome views!
