All of the forrest fires have caused a longgggggggggggggg detour in the road through the park. There was 10 miles of this tiny road shut down and it caused a 200 mile detour. Let's just say it was not a pleasant detour.

At least it was absolutely gorgeous driving through the park.
Once we got out of the park entrance we went through several little towns. Then headed up and down, side to side, and switchbacks to boot. Let's just say I got really car sick really quick and we had to stop a few times along the way. By the time we got back to the entrance of the park I was quite over the drive. You will see in the pictures to come I was not feeling so hot.
