Joey had a few days off so we decided to head to Northern California to visit our friends- Carolyn and Brandon. The trip was LONGGGGGG but well worth it. We left a lot later than we anticipated to and the drive was pretty desolate.
Mr. Patience- Joey was quite a champ! Driving in the middle of nowhere for 8 hours with a pregnant wife is not very fun.... not to mention I'm not the most fun car trip kind of person in the world. Although Joey's biggest pet peeve is backtracking and not making good time, we made a few stops for the bathroom and to take a break from the car.

We finally got to the Schroders and we had so much fun with them and their adorable babies. They just had baby Scotty and Joey got to practice babysitting. This is a perfect picture of what our future holds. Quality time with baby, remote, and sports center. Joey spent the day waiting for Brandon to get home from work- making sure not to miss any football highlights to inform him of.
He's going to be such a great Daddy- we just can't wait! Joey on baby patrol gave Carolyn and I plenty of time to catch up.
